Shasta Gas Propane was started by Chuck and Judy Kinnie in 1997.

Shasta Gas services 4000 customers in Shasta and Tehama counties within a 40 mile radius of Redding/Anderson California.

We Specialize in residential service so we can keep our prices lower.

Our employees receive safety training approved by the National Propane Gas Associations.

We provide discounts for Veterans, Seniors, Easy payment customers and various church ministries.
 

LOCAL BUSINESS RECEIVES VETERANS' EMPLOYER OF THE YEAR AWARD
On May 7, 2015, the 2015 California Employer Advisory Council (CEAC) and the California Employment Development Department (EDD) presented the Veterans Employer of the Year Awards at a luncheon in the Gaia Hotel event center in Anderson. Nine employers who honor our veterans were recognized not only in words, but in deeds.

Each year, the CEAC along with the EDD honors employers who consistently demonstrate positive policies toward U.S. veterans and go the extra mile to hire, retain, and promote them while providing training and benefits. Eligibility for the Veterans Employer of the Year Awards is limited to California employers who are in compliance with all national, state, and local laws, and who are in good standing with the State of California.

The Master of Ceremonies was Dr. Cal Farmer, Chairperson for the CEAC Veterans Executive Committee and the presentation of colors was displayed by VFW Redding Post 1934.
The 2015 CEAC Veterans Employer of the Year Awards went to:

Veteran’s Employer of the Year Award
The California Employer Advisory Council (CEAC) Veterans Employer of the Year Awards recognize employers who consistently demonstrate positive policies toward U.S. veterans in hiring and promotion, as well as through employee retention efforts, ongoing training, and benefits.

Seven Seals Award
The Seven Seals Award is the broadest and most inclusive award given by Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve. The Seven Seals Award is in recognition of significant individual or organizational achievement, initiative, or support that promotes and supports the ESGR mission.
ESGR, a Department of Defense office, was established in 1972 to promote cooperation and understanding between Reserve Component Service members and their civilian employers and to assist in the resolution of conflicts arising from an employee's military commitment.
ESGR has served our country for more than 40 years, fostering a culture in which all employers support and value the employment and military service of members of the National Guard and Reserve in the United States. These citizen warriors could not defend and protect us at home and abroad without the continued promise of meaningful civilian employment for themselves and their families. ESGR has continued to adapt to meet the needs of Reserve Component members, their families and America’s employers by joining forces with a network of other national, state and local government and professional trade organizations as together, We All Serve!
